am trying to do ss assign, but have nothing to write. so being bored and all, i went on google in an attempt and hope to find something to include in my assignment XD

Amazingly, there are fines for not flushing the toielt afer use. The toilet fine varies from place to place: I've seen it hit $500 before. But this isn't enforced - relax, just be responsible about toilet usage. We have cleaners to clean up after you, but don't abuse them. Be responsible for your poop.

Any place that doesn't serve an economic, commercial or residential purpose will have green stuff planted on it. This widespread greenery is readily apparent in bird's-eye views of the country.

The average Singaporean is well-educated, but isn't exactly creative (a side-effect of the rigid education system). He/she can speak 2 languages: English, and his/her own native tongue. Most of the Chinese can speak their native dialect in addition to Mandarin. Along the way we pick up smatterings of other languages, and incorporate this into the English language, forming what many of us term "Singlish". It is a big headache for the government because the foreigners find it hard to understand us when we speak that, because even though most of the words are derived from the English Language, the grammar and sentence structure is completely different. The only way to speak Singlish improperly is to speak proper English. Those who are used to it usually don't find it a headache - it shortens many oft-used but lengthy statements.

Don't you get me started on cost of living. The cars cost 3 times as much here. Add COE to this, and it means you'll have to work like mad to earn enough for one. But since the public transport system is very well-developed (Point A to B anywhere on mainland island within 1.5 hours), cars usually serve as a symbol of wealth, and not much more.

Singapore has no tourist spots, no matter what your travel agency might say. Don't come for them.

anyway just went on ivle, and i was requested to click on a link in my email address to do an english survey, but i came to this page with this sentence: The survey does not exists even the school's standard of english has degenerated to huixiang's state whahaha!

been slacking away my hols, so guilty and panicky inside, mentally, but not doing anything about it physically. sigh- i must REALLY start on my homework next week, tomorrow! grrr =(

well took pictures of trophies today to send in along with my application. so weird, anyway decided to post the photo of our first medal in track! though it's just 6th, but it's still something huh. re-live and re-experience the sense of achievement! XD

(even cuter than yiting bunny!=p) nabaztag is a white rabbit with a constant wi-fi connection, providing access to other internet users and vital daily information. it flashes colored lights on her tummy when new e-mails arrive and plays MP3s and MIDI files and dances a jig etc.



soooo cute! i want one, but it's not even released yet haha. scheduled for launch in france at the end of june, global release in 2006 only bleh.

anw my one week of aep lessons are over, the holidays have started! whee! anyway, i finally submitted my hci dsa application form yesterday, after loads of trials and tribulations, yes which i'm too lazy to elaborate on. managed to get it in just 2h before the closing hour hur, and saw yiting's good friends there whahaha XD

ooh and put braces which are interesting, they can be removed! =o and my teeth hurt, so i've only been eating porridge, steamed egg and tomato bits today. ooh and a popsicle too =p i don't mind having steamed egg every meal though lol. (they're better now, and don't hurt if i don't apply pressure on them eg. chewing)

i should seriously start revising and do my homework. tried doing a maths today, and i realised that i've forgotten how to do it. such a bother.

hmmm.... yesterday's trg is horrible under the hot sun as usual. but still OK. ahah cause liang and mich was there to accompany me finally!!! aha.
lets fast fast foward to the bbq. it was nice but so sad ms yeo was not there. hmm i think she must be really busy with her son. i know that she cannot help it. awwwww. so sad ok nvm.
and i think that it is really obvious that i like ms yeo. cause even miss tan noes now. cool :) aniwae its kinda not lyk a secret animore huh so many ppl noes it. bleahx. aniwae i m so happy that ms yeo sms though :) ahhh!!! she is so nice. hehe.
btw wad we did at the bbq: yehui is the one keep serving food; and suhui peggy wen rui jayce denice tofu the ones who keep bbq-ing and mich went to bbq the mashmallows at the v last part CAUSE she wanna EAT. miss tan and mr pedro came and they told us abit of their love story in germany ahah.

and my sis is the entertainer for that night with all her funny statements and ideas abt girl marrying girl and boy marrying boy? but seriously i didnt teach her that and perhaps she is also v innocent since she is only 7. aahah yup. and she loves mich so much that she keep hugging her and pestering around her ahaha. mich its a wonderful day for u isnt it. and liang is called maryl lim now... what a nice name haha.

ok yup and i think that maybe if ms yeo went then i would bring out my cam to take pictures. ahah in the end i didnt cause she nv come. its ok. its alright. maybe next time :) yup and i sms her back :) wheeee. i think i m gonna miss her during the hols.
